This 4.33" x 1182' Wax ribbon comes on a 1" core with 24 rolls per box. Thermal ribbons are a critical component in thermal transfer printing. In this print method, a hot print head creates the printed image by melting the ribbon material onto the paper stock. The resulting print stabilizes quickly and is durable enough for most non-archival barcode and shipping needs.

This particular thermal is Coated Side In (CSI). This means that the ribbon has been wound in around the ribbon core so the ink is facing inward. When using CSI thermal ribbon, you will want to unroll it from the top and feed it over the print head. Printer brands compatible with CSI ribbon include SATO and Datamax.
